Infection Prevention and Control for Hospitality & Retail

This QQI Level 5 Minor Award course was delivered in direct response to the sector’s requirement for staff who will be suitably qualified to work in this area during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The purpose of this award is to equip employees with the knowledge, skill and competence to prevent and control infection within the hospitality and retail sectors.

Learning outcomes include knowledge of the chain of infection, role and functions of infection control teams, inclusion of infection/control in all standard operating procedures in workplaces.

This QQI Level 6 Minor Award will equip employees with the skills required to manage conflict effectively in the workplace.

The aim of the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) certification is to give the learner the skills to use a computer competently and confidently.
